The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is delighted to invite you to a breakfast seminar covering the topic of real estate in China. With a rapid economic growth in China, real estate has become one of the fastest growing areas in the country. However, there are also claims that China is building a big bubble in the real estate sector as the result of Chinese government efforts to stimulate the property market. At this seminar we will address if there is a bubble being formed in Chinese property market? What are the factors driving the trend behind? How it can affect our investment and business operation in China? Join us for this seminar, where our invited specialists will find the answers for you. The Speakers James Macdonald, Head of Savills China Research, Savills Mr. Macdonald will speak about the current property market situation in China and explain the factors which might drive the claimed bubble in the sector. Michelle Gon, Principal, Baker & McKenzie LLP Ms. Gon will be looking at the current legal issues revolving around the real estate market and discuss how they may be impacting trends, as well as analysing what opportunities and threats exist that might affect any potential bubble.
